Mango Flan

½ cup sugar plus ¼ cup for caramel
½ cup mango puree (canned and sweetened)
1 cup whole milk
3 eggs
1 pinch ground nutmeg

1. Melt ¼ cup sugar in a pan on low heat until caramelized.
2. Pour the caramel into four small
3 ounce ramekins, or special deep oven-proof dishes that come in various sizes.
3. Blend all the other ingredients until smooth and pour into the ramekins.
4. Bake the flans at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until the flans are somewhat firm.
5. Remove from oven and cool.
6. Refrigerate the flans for a few hours or overnight.
7. Before serving, loosen the edges of the flan with a knife.
8. Invert the flan on to a small plate.
9. Garnish with mint leaves and slices of fresh mango
